His cousin called the police to help her coax him upstairs in hopes of getting him help. Little did she know, her attempt to help her cousin would leave him with 10 bullets in his back. 19 year Old Accused of Cop Killing Murdered in His Cell! Ronnie L. White was found slumped over in his jail cell by a guard who was supposedly bringing him lunch around 10:30 am. Ronnie died from asphyxiation with two broken bones in his neck. He had been arrested for killing a white police officer, Cpl. Richard S. Findley.
Ronnie White was murdered 36 hours after the white officers death.
